Even though it’s a world-building game, Terraria has spawned a thriving, almost eSports-like community of players bidding to record the fastest speed-runs. Each individual boss in the game has its own speed-run, but the most coveted record is the one for finishing off all the Pre-Hardmode bosses in the game. On 15 November 2017, gamer “BandsWithLegends” (USA) raced through all the bosses in version 1.3.2.1 of the game in just 42 minutes 56 seconds – as verified by Speedrun.com.
