City with the most buildings 150 m or taller

The city with the most skyscrapers is Hong Kong, China. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) there were 669 buildings of 150 m or more in the city as of 30 January 2025.

The nearby Chinese city of Shenzhen was in second place with 626, while New York and Dubai were in third and fourth positions, with 434 and 424 respectively. However, when counting only skyscrapers of 300 m or more (what the CTBUH calls "supertalls"), Dubai leads with 32, compared with Shenzhen in second place with 21.
