Indonesia's Yayuk Basuki won 33 doubles matches in the Fed Cup, the premier women's international team competition. Basuki played 60 Fed Cup ties, in singles and doubles, between 1985 and 2011.
Basuki's win/loss record in Fed Cup doubles is 33–7, and overall in Fed Cup competition (singles and doubles) it's 62–28. She's ranked fifth on the all-time winners list, behind Spain's Arantxa Sánchez Vicario (72 wins, 28 losses).
Great Britain's Virginia Wade and Basuki's one-time doubles partner Wynne Prakusya are tied in second place on 30 for the most Fed Cup doubles matches won.
Basuki and Suzanna Anggarkusuma won 15 matches (in 18 ties) during their nine-year Fed Cup career as partners. Basuki has also partnered Lukky Tedjamukti, Suzanna Wibowo, Sri Utaminingsih, Waya Walalangi, Romana Tedjakusuma, Wynne Prakusya, Wukirasih Sawondari and Jessy Rompies for Indonesia in the Fed Cup.
In 1989, Indonesia defeated Finland 2–1 in the World Group final, with Basuki winning her singles and doubles (with Suzanna Wibowo) rubbers. In 1990, Basuki won her singles match as Indonesia beat Hungary 2–1 in the World Group final. Basuki's final Fed Cup match was a 2–1 Group II play-off win vs. Hong Kong in 2011 in which she won the doubles rubber with Jessy Rompies.
Basuki (b. 30 November 1970) was ranked as high as 9 in doubles and 19 in singles by the WTA (Women's Tennis Association), in July 1998 and October 1997, respectively. She won four Asian Games gold medals (1986–98), nine WTA women's doubles (1993–2001) and six WTA singles (1991–94) events during her career. Basuki's best Grand Slam performances were a Wimbledon singles quarter-final in 1997 (beaten by Jana Novotná) and a women's doubles semi-final at the 1993 US Open with Japan's Nana Miyagi (beaten by Amanda Coetzer and Inés Gorrochategui).
