On 20 April 2015, the UK-based Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams Team XENEX and exceL eSports fought out an unprecedented, thrilling contest in the ESL One UK Premiership that lasted an epic 88 rounds with six overtimes, totalling approximately 2 hours 43 minutes. XENEX, who were outright favourites ahead of the match, eventually despatched Excel 46 rounds to 42, but were clearly shocked at the resilience and guile shown by their underdog opponents.
