The largest balloon costume measured 353 cm (11 ft 7 in) tall, and was made and worn by Tom Kent (UK) at Liverpool Comic Con in Liverpool, UK, on 13 November 2021.

The Inflatable Hulk was built over two days entirely from biodegradable Qualatex modelling balloons:

  • 300 spring green 350Qs
  • 150 spring green 260Qs
  • 50 purple 260Qs
  • 10 black 260Qs
  • 2 printed eye balloons.

The costume was made in four parts – upper body, trousers and two feet – and allowed the wearer to walk around unassisted, with a restricted view available between the balloons of the Hulk's torso. The arms could be manipulated by the wearer using two rods that fed into the interior of the costume, or by two puppeteers outside. The feet measured 66 cm (26 in) long, the neck had a circumference of 125.5 cm (49.5 in), and the waist size was 188.5 cm (74.2 in).

The costume was finally popped at the Comic Con after-party.
