Inspired by the real-life Titanosaurs – a group of long-necked, sauropod dinosaurs that palaeontologists believe to include the largest species ever discovered – the Titanosaur in Studio Wildcard's survival game ARK: Survival Evolved would boast an overall length of at least 133 m and stand approximately 54 m tall, based on the game's in-game scale. The creature was unleashed as part of an update for the PC version in June 2016, and was followed shortly after for the Xbox One. The developer told GWR: "Only something on ARK could grow so big!”.

The longest real-life Titanosaur to be discovered is believed to be one found in the Patagonia region in Argentina in 2014. A cast of the creature's skeleton measures 37.1 m (122 ft) in length and is displayed at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, USA.
