The largest footgolf tournament consisted of 310 participants, and was achieved by the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club (USA) at Kennedy Golf Course in Denver, Colorado, USA, on 21 October 2018.
The purpose of the tournament was to raise funds for their free after school soccer programming that takes place over 30 Colorado schools with high rates of free and reduced lunch. They also decided to break the world record to generate interest for the event, and to challenge their club membership with a unique goal, and have to have some fun in the process.
