The fastest 100 m ascent by a quadcopter is 0.91 seconds, achieved by Mehar Singh (India) in New Delhi, India, on 7 July 2024.
Mehar (17) designed and created the quadcopter and spent several months finessing the build before this successful attempt.
His fascination with flight began at an early age and blossomed into a deep passion when he discovered FPV drone racing in 8th grade. "This endeavour symbolizes my commitment to continuous growth and achievement in pursuit of my passion for flight and innovation", he told GWR.
