On 5 June 2015, a committee of expert journalists, scholars and videogame industry members inducted six games into the inaugural World Video Game Hall of Fame in The National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, USA. Chosen from a shortlist of 15, these were the seminal titles DOOM, PAC-Man, Pong, Super Mario Bros., Tetris and World of Warcraft.
