Notable wins include the Intel Grand Slam Season 2 in Germany in 2019, which netted them $1 million, and, most recently, the International 2024 - the DOTA2 competition that earned them $1.16 million.
Team Liquid was founded as an esports organization in the Netherlands in 2000, initially as a StarCraft team. Beginning in 2010, the team began to branch out into other events, signing teams playing games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Quake, Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone. The organization’s ranks have included players from all over the world, including Germany, Finland, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Jordan, Venezuela and Gibraltar.
