The most different IndyCar Series race winners in a single season is 11 and was first achieved in 2000 before being equalled the following season. Most recently this record was matched in the 2014 season with races won by Will Power, Mike Conway, Ryan Hunter-Read, Simon Pagenaud, Hélio Castroneves, Ed Carpenter, Carlos Huertas, Juan Pablo Montoya, Sébastian Bourdais, Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan. In total there were 18 races in the 2014 IndyCar Series, which was won by Will Power his first championship in this discipline.
