The largest display of teru teru bozu dolls consists of 13,999 dolls and was achieved by Appare! (Japan) at Nippon Budokan in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan on 29 January 2025.

Appare! is a Japanese idol group, and one of their dreams has always been to hold a live concert at the Nippon Budokan. They had originally planned to have their first concert in 2024; however, it had to be postponed due to a typhoon. In Japan, teru teru bozu dolls are traditionally used to prevent bad weather, so the group, along with their staff and fans, created a large number of these dolls. Their efforts resulted in a clear and sunny day for the rescheduled concert.
