The only player to score two hat-tricks in European Cup/UEFA Champions League Finals is Ferenc Puskás (Hungary), who scored hat-tricks playing for Real Madrid (Spain) in both the 1960 and 1962 European Cup Final. Real Madrid won the 1960 European Cup Final 7-2 against Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany), with Puskás contributing four goals, the most ever scored by one player in a single European Cup/UEFA Champions League Final. He then scored another hat-trick in a losing effort during the 1962 European Cup Final when Real Madrid lost 5-3 to Benfica (Portugal).
