The youngest winner of the WCF Association Croquet World Championships is Robert Fletcher (Australia, b. 29 July 1993) who won the 14th World Championships aged 20 years 20 days, in the Surbiton Club, UK, on 18 August 2013.
Robert Fletcher also became the first player to win the world championships without dropping a game and the first Australian croquet world champion. In 2012 he finished runner-up losing to Reg Bamford of South Africa. The previous record holder is legendary Englishman Robert Fulford who won the tournament in 1990 aged 21.
