Opener Mohammad Ihsan (160 from 63 balls, including 17 sixes) and No.4 batter Hamza Dar (91 not out from 29 balls, including 12 sixes) scored all of Spain’s maximums in compiling a third-wicket stand worth 147.

All four batters who made it to the middle contributed to Nepal’s six count: opener Kushal Bhurtel (129 from 43 balls, including 16 sixes), No.4 batter Rohit Paudel (69 not out from 21 balls, with seven sixes), No.3 batter Kushal Malla (85 not out from 47 balls, including five sixes) and opener Aasif Sheikh (11 from 10 balls, with one six).
