The largest real-life escape game was attended by 2,700 participants and was organized by SCRAP, Makuhari Messe, Entertainment Plus and Nippon Broadcasting System (all Japan) at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Chiba, Japan on 16 November 2013. The theme of the game was to avoid an asteriod collision with Earth. 20 participants managed to complete the game in the allocated time. The winner was Takeshi Chigasawara (Japan) who completed the game in just over 30 minutes.
