Oldest dance troupe (mixed)

The oldest dance troupe is The Hip Op-eration Crew (New Zealand), consisting of 23 active members aged 67 to 95 years old, with an average age of 79 years and 197 days as of 10 May 2014.

Formed on 9 August 2012, the dancers had given 25 public performances as of the date of the record verification, including a guest performance at the Finals of the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Las Vegas, USA, and three performances already booked for the second half of 2014. The dancers are: John “Snoop J” Baker (80), Dianne Bartlett (67), Liz Brown (74), Liz Cleaver (81), Len Curtis (72), Leila Gilchrist (71), Jan Horton (69), Ainsley Hunter (70), Jocelynne Hynds (67), Jack Long (83), Brenda Long (80), Sheila McDonald (81), Rosemary McKenzie (73), Winnie Mitchell (79), Kara Nelson (94), Bobbi Paaka (71), Selwyn Redwood (92), Madge Redwood (91), Maynie Thompson (95), Geoff Tong (84), Marie “Missy M” Turfrey (69), Rona Weston (83) and Terri Woolmore - Goodwin (93). Past members include Hana Blackmore (70), Matthew Blackmore (75), Eileen Evans (83), Jill Jackson (67) and Robyne Winton (69).
