The largest serving of poutine measured 3034 kg (6688.82 lb), and was achieved by Les Fromages de Warwick (Canada), in Warwick, Canada, on 3 August 2019.

In order to break this record, Jean Morin surrounded himself by a team of friends and asked other cheesemakers to join the efforts to achieve the largest poutine.

Finding all the deep fryers needed to achieve this record was no easy task. A total of 42 were necessary. When adding up all the ingredients needed for the record, they realised the challenge had now stretched to the vessel where the poutine would be served. A bespoke structure was made in order to accommodate the superlative poutine, made of wood and steel beams.

More than 300 volunteers were necessary for the different aspects surrounding this record attempt. If everything went well, between 6,000 and 8,000 people would be served.

On the day of the attempt, musicians were on site, and a song was composed for the occasion. The song called "Hymne à la Poutine", written by Hélène Lemay was played.

The attempt took place in the city of Warwick, as Poutine was invented there in 1957.
