Lifting off from the summit of Everest on 21 May 2011, Babu Sunuwar (Nepal) and Lakpa Sherpa (Nepal) achieved an altitude of approximately 8,878 metres, the Highest altitude achieved on a tandem paraglide. The two men then travelled 31 kilometres around Mount Nuptse before landing safely at the airport in Namche Bazaar, Nepal.
