The Sevmorput was laid down in June 1982 and commissioned on 30 December 1988. She is an ice-breaking "lighter aboard ship" and container cargo vessel owned by the Russian Federation. Her KLT-40 pressurized water reactor, rated at 135 MW, makes her the most powerful of only four nuclear cargo ships ever built. She is also the last in operation.
