Kaleidoscope hair products receive a Guinness World Records title

With a massive amount of 20,000 haircare products donated, Jesseca Harris-Dupart and Kaleidoscope Hair Products Global LLC (both USA) achieved the new Guinness World Records title for largest donation of haircare products in 24 hours on June 25, 2022.

Kaleidoscope Hair Products, led by entrepreneur and hairstylist Jesseca Dupart, teamed up with Harlem Pride during their 13th annual Celebration Day to unveil this incredible achievement on stage at the event in Harlem, New York, USA.

Their certificate was presented by an official adjudicator from Guinness World Records in front of a crowd of more than 20,000 attendees from across the country.

"I am so honored to celebrate this historic event that has deeply personal roots to my own journey," Dupart said.

"Since launching Kaleidoscope Hair Products, I have always made it my mission to give back to the network that has supported me from day one, so this moment feels especially significant. Harlem Pride and Center for Black Equity were the perfect partners to bring this experience to life as they share in my same goal to uplift and empower the multicultural LGBTQ+ community." - Jesseca Dupart, CEO. After the official certificate was awarded, the crowd heard from Jesseca and her wife, Atlanta hip-hop legend Da Brat, and leaders from Harlem Pride, who all spoke to their own coming out journeys.

They also shared the impact this donation will have in the community and how embracing their natural hair allows them to proudly live and celebrate their authentic selves.

Jesseca Dupart started Kaleidoscope Hair Products in 2014 and has been part of the Guinness World Records family since 2018, when the brand achieved the title for most toys donated in one hour in her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, in 2018.

To break the record title for the largest donation of haircare products in 24 hours, Kaleidoscope Hair Products shipped 20,000 products from their warehouse in Atlanta to the Center for Black Equity in New York City.

The non-profit's mission is to promote a "multinational LGBTQ+ network dedicated to improving health and wellness opportunities, economic empowerment, and equal rights."

While this was a new record title that didn't have a previous record holder, the minimum was set at 10,000 - not an easy goal.

But with a passionate team and a committed community, Kaleidoscope Hair doubled that minimum amount.

Kaleidoscope Hair is well known for its hair growth products, with their Miracle Drops being the most popular item, but also for their support of the multicultural LGBTQ+ community.
