Largest underpants, largest table tennis bat and largest skateboard

When Jack next climbs up the beanstalk to reach the giant’s caste in the sky, what supersize items might he see along the way?

For starters, the streets would probably be lined with 26.29 m (86 ft 3 in) motorcycles, like the longest motorcycle created by Bharat Sinh Parmar (India) in 2014. Along the pavement, young giants might also kick around the 12.18 m (39 ft 11 in) largest football (soccer ball) made by Doha Bank (Qatar) in 2013 – that’s almost double the length of a regular sized goalpost!

Largest whoopee cushion

Among the items stocked on supermarket shelves would be the 559.8 kg (1,234 lb 2 oz) largest jam jar and 4.98 m (16 ft 4 in) largest pepper grinder, built by Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Los Reyes (Mexico) and Algonquin College (Canada) respectively. One aisle along Jack might even find the largest water pistol (1.22 m x 2.22 m / 4 ft x 7.2 ft), largest whoopee cushion (7.62 m / 25 ft) or even the largest Game Boy (1 m x 0.6 m / 3.2 ft x 1.9 ft), all of which are fully functional items!

Largest oven lighter

Food certainly wouldn’t be an issue for the giants, given the skill and creativity of our record holders! Using the largest oven lighter - constructed by Samuel Foskuhl and Peter Sripol (both USA) and measuring a mighty 2.17 m (7 ft 1 in) in length - a tasty barbecue could be cooked along all 194.5 m (638 ft 1 in) of the longest skewer of meat. There’d be no need for anybody to try and eat Jack this time!

Largest guitar amplifier

Inside the castle itself, Jack would discover an incredible array of supersized possessions. Placed on the giant’s mantlepiece would be the 7.76 m x 2.8 m (25.4 ft x 9.1 ft) largest key; while in the living room he might spot a giant rocking out with the largest electric guitar (13.29 m / 43.5 ft tall), powered by the largest guitar amplifier which is a deafening 3 m x 2.4 m x 1.3 m (9.8 ft x 7.8 ft x 4.2 ft) and built at Full Sail University (USA) in 2017.

Largest table tennis bat

As Jack creeps past another giant reading the 40.3 m² (433.7 ft²) largest book in the largest rocking chair (17.09 m x 9.99 m / 56 ft X 32.7 ft) - built by Jim Bolin [USA] in 2015) he’ll be cautious not to knock over the 8.76 m (28 ft 8 in) largest broom and will hope the 3.5 tonne (3.85 US ton) largest telephone doesn’t start to ring! He might even try his hand with the largest table tennis / ping pong bat (3.53 m / 11 ft 7.8 in tall and 2.02 m 6 ft 7.8 in wide) – created by Rise Brands (USA) in 2017 – that is, if he can even lift it!

Largest underpants

Once he reaches the bedroom and opens the giant’s wardrobe, he’ll be amazed to discover the largest men's suit, measuring an incredible 19.5 m (63 ft 11.7 in) in height from shoulder to trouser hem. Jack’s mood might quickly change though, once he discovers the largest underpants which are even bigger than a double decker bus!

Largest skateboard

As he hitches a ride back towards the beanstalk on the 11.14 m (36 ft 6.5 in) largest skateboard, Jack might decide to take the fun route back down to earth instead and travel down the longest inner tube / mat water slide which measures a humongous 1.11 km (0.68 mi) in length – roughly the length of 10 whole football fields!
