Daredevil "Burning Joe" drags a car 100 m while on fire in latest full body burn stunt

A stuntman proved he’s as strong as he is brave by pulling a car while on fire.
Just to clarify, we don’t mean the car was on fire – HE was on fire.
Daredevil Josef Tödtling (Austria) became the first person to claim the record for fastest 100 m car pull in full body burn with a time of just 56.42 seconds when he took on the challenge in Vienna on 24 June.
In our red hot video, Josef uses all of his might to pull a car (including driver) along the road while flames engulf him.
Someone walks alongside him, with fire extinguisher in hand, ready to step in if things go wrong.
He and two others got straight to work dousing the flames as Josef reached the end of his attempt and threw himself to the ground.
It should go without saying, but a full body burn is one of the most dangerous stunts a person can perform and it requires training, so don’t just go around setting yourself on fire willy-nilly.
Josef is a very experienced stuntman, and is a bit of a regular when it comes to breaking records while on fire.
To name but a few of the records he’s broken, back in 2013 he claimed the longest duration full body burn without oxygen with an unbelievable time of 5 min 41 sec.
Two years later, he performed the farthest distance pulled by a vehicle (full body burn) with a total of 582 m (1,909 ft 5 in).
Swapping to a bicycle in 2022, he went on our Italian TV programme Lo Show dei Record to claim the fastest 200 m cycle during a full body burn in just 49.55 sec.
And in 2023, he took to the skies for the farthest distance full body burn on a zip wire, claiming the record with 61.45 metres (201.60 ft).
Josef is so well known for setting himself on fire that people call him “Burning Joe”.
