Juggling is difficult enough… never mind doing it with five balls while balancing upside down on your head!

Circus performer José Valencia (Colombia) put his skills to the test for this epic attempt.

While balancing on his noggin, José snapped up the record for longest duration juggling five balls while performing a headstand by holding his position for 45 seconds.

He’d spent years practising at home before officially taking on the challenge.

With his legs in a splits position above him, José picked up the five balls waiting by the base of the stand he was balancing on.

After a while in the uncomfortable position, the 34-year-old confessed that his head and back were starting to tire.

But he managed to power through and become the very first person to set the record.

He said: “I had worked so hard so many years, and this is the time that my work paid off.

“So I think it’s great and amazing to have [the record].”

José is currently one of the star attractions on the Lumous circus variety tour.

The show is travelling to Switzerland, Austria and Finland.

José showed off his skills once again after getting his hands on his official Guinness World Records certificate.

In a fun video posted to his Instagram account, he held the framed document between his legs while balancing on his head and juggling.

“Hard work paid off,” he told his followers.

One person called him: “The king of hand balancing!!”

“Whoop whoop! Crazy record,” another commented.

A third penned: “Congratulations, you totally deserve it!”

While some suggested he should look to nab more records with his unique set of skills.

We agree!
