“I think the only time I would stop collecting Squishmallows is if they stopped producing Squishmallows,” admitted Sabrina Dausman.

The 27-year-old from Mascoutah, Illinois, USA, owns the largest collection of Squishmallows, which as of 17 December 2023, totalled at 1,523.

Sabrina’s love for the marshmallow-like plushies has also earned her a coveted spot in Guinness World Records 2025, and she joined other amazing record holders as one of the stars of the latest edition of the book when Guinness World Records hit shelves.

The popular plushies Sabrina is so fond of were created by Kelly Toys Holdings LLC in 2017 and soon became a TikTok sensation because of their squishy, marshmallow-like feel.

Sabrina is the first holder of this record title and is unlikely to lose it any time soon, thanks to her unwavering commitment to the cuddly characters.

“[On several occasions], I have driven two hours away to get the newest Squishmallows,” she told Guinness World Records.

“I also have waited for two hours in the cold for a store to open so I could make sure I get the Alexie the Cow Squishmallows I was looking for!”

Sabrina’s collection began in January 2018, when she spotted Fern the Valentine Fox on the shelves of her local Walmart.

The pink fox was first released in 2017 as a member of the Valentine’s Day Collection, also known as the Valentine Squad.

Fern also comes with her own unique bio, which reads: “Fern decorates her house with paper heart chains, confetti and pink balloons for Valentine's Day every year. Join her for the most amazing parties, as she's the best host around.”

Since then, Sabrina has gone on to fill her home with Squishmallows of all different sizes, from the bag clips to the 24-inch (0.6-m) softies.

“I keep my Squishmallows in almost every room in my house, but I do have two dedicated rooms called the ‘Squish Rooms’ that are filled with just Squishmallows,” Sabrina explained.

In her main bedroom, she has a special display dedicated to her favourite Squishmallow: Sam the Dog, which resembles her beloved childhood pet, Luca.

Reflecting on what her family and friends think of her collection, Sabrina said: “They think it’s awesome but at the same time they’re like, ‘Sabrina, you have way too many Squishmallows’.”

“I agree with them, of course,” she joked. “But whenever there’s a new cow Squishmallows, I’m like, ‘I NEED IT.’”

Sabrina also collects Loungefly backpacks which are themed around recognizable characters from pop culture, but her Squishmallows are her most prized possessions because of their comforting nature.

She shared: “I deal with a lot of anxiety, [especially] when I’m out shopping, but whenever I see Squishmallows in stores, I get so excited that my anxiety just goes away since I’m focusing on something that brings me so much joy.”

It’s just the most crazy experience!

“I’m just still in awe that I’ve been able to [achieve] this and be a part of this amazing book with all these other amazing record holders,” she added, talking about her record and being included in Guinness World Records 2025.

So, what’s next for Sabrina?

“The Squishmallows that are highest on my wish list are Connor the Cow Stackable and Cliff the Cow Hugmees, and I would absolutely love a Seahorse clip!”

Sabrina also hopes that one day, she will be able to design her own custom Squishmallow.

And if you’re an aspiring collector, here is Sabrina’s expert advice to get you started…

"[Don’t] stress too much about finding the newest Squishmallows, I always have found my best finds when I wasn’t expecting it!"
