Just when you thought Beyoncé couldn’t get any more iconic, her recent wins at the Grammy Awards 2023 have brought her a string of new Guinness World Records titles.

Queen Bey won four statuettes this year, adding most Grammy awards won by an individual, most Grammy awards won by a female artist and most Grammy awards won by a vocalist to her list of achievements, and we’re not even done yet!

The 41-year-old singer has won an impressive 32 Grammys since 2001.

She also has the most Grammy nominations for a female artist with 88, matched with husband Jay-Z, who also has 88 and the record for most Grammy nominations for a male artist.

The couple are also joint holders of the record for most Grammy nominations.

Beyoncé also tops the list for most Grammy nominations for Record of the Year.

She’s been in the running for the prestigious prize eight times with her songs "Break My Soul", "Say My Name" (with Destiny’s Child), "Crazy In Love" (featuring Jay-Z), "Irreplaceable", "Halo", "Formation", "Black Parade", and "Savage" (Megan thee Stallion’s song she featured on).

Bey and Jay-Z, who she married in 2008 and shares three children with, also share the record for most Grammy awards won by a married couple with 56 between 1999 and 2023.

He adds 24 awards to her 32 – begging the question, where are they keeping them all?

Beyoncé also shares the record for most Grammy nominations in a single year for a female artist with fellow US-singer Lauryn Hill.

They both received 10 Grammy nods in a single year – Lauryn in 1999 and Beyoncé in 2010.

Jay-Z, 53, has a few wins to go if he wants to match his wife’s success by earning the title for most Grammy awards won by a male artist.

That record is currently held by conductor and musical director Sir Georg Solti (UK, c. 1912-97), who picked up 31 gongs during his career.

Sir Georg also held the most Grammy awards won by an individual title before Beyoncé outdid his success.

Other artists really have their work cut out if they want to rival the couple’s Grammys success.
