Bestselling author and fitness coach, Joe Wicks (UK), has been on a mission over the past few weeks to keep children healthy and active while staying indoors through free online P.E. classes.

These classes have been streamed to families across the world, earning Joe a brand new Guinness World Records title for the most viewers for a fitness workout live stream on YouTube.

A record-breaking number of 955,185 households tuned in to P.E with Joe on the 24th March, hosted live on Joe’s YouTube channel: The Body Coach TV.

Each week day at 9am, Joe leads a new 30 minute workout.

These workouts do not require any equipment and are suitable for children of all ages- adults are encouraged to join in too!

Each class remains on Joe’s YouTube channel following the livestream, so for those that miss the 9am class, they can all be caught up on later.

“I had no idea that when I went live on my YouTube workout on the 24th March, that we were actually setting a world record! So thank you to everyone that tuned in- I’m so proud that this is our record, and we can remember that day as the moment we got the most viewers for a live workout.” - Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach

This will not be Joe’s first entry in to the Guinness World Records book- in 2017 he achieved the record for the largest high-intensity interval training class, when 3,804 people joined him on the 5th July at British Summer Time festival in London’s Hyde Park, a record he still holds to this day.
