We're taking a look at the best of the best when it comes to fire records, and revisiting some of the most epic stunts we've seen throughout the years (all done by trained professionals, of course.)

Most alternate fire eating extinguishes in one minute (team of two) 

Laura Sutton aka Isobel Midnight (UK) and Noelia Hueso Muñoz aka Lady Noelia (Spain) achieved this record with 73 extinguishes at The Fire School, in London, UK, on 27 January 2019. 

Laura and Noelia have been performing together for many years, building the trust needed for two people to break a team fire eating record.

Longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire

Enrico Schoeman and André de Kock (both South Africa) braved the flames for a scorching 120.4 m (395 ft 0.15 in) in Parys, South Africa, on 5 Sep 2014. Riding a motorcycle and sidecar, they beat their own world record by 17.31 m (56 ft 9 in) at South Africa’s largest gathering of motorcyclists, the Rhino Rally.

The duo have held this record since 2012, and also hold the record for the longest quadbike ride through a tunnel of fire with 36.59 m (120.04 ft).

Most fire whip cracks with two whips in 30 seconds (full-body burn) 

The most fire whip cracks with two whips in 30 seconds (full-body burn) is 92, and was achieved by Aaron Bonk (USA), in Brunswick, Ohio, USA, on 26 July 2018.

Aaron also holds the record for the most whip crack juggling catches in one minute (three whips) with 80 whip crack juggling catches.

Most flames blown in one minute (fire breathing) 

Zhu Jiangao (China) achieved this record on the set of CCTV Guinness World Records Special in Jiangyin, Jiangsu, China on 9 January 2015. He managed an incredible 189 flames blown.

Zhu's nearest competitor on the show recorded a highest total of 162 in his attempt.

Farthest distance pulled by a vehicle (full body burn) 

This nerve-wracking record of 582 metres was achieved by Josef Tödtling (Austria), in Teichalm-Fladnitz, Austria, on 27 June 2015.

Josef Tödtling (Austria) is also the record holder for the longest distance pulled by a horse (full body burn).

Fastest 100 metres sprint full body burn without oxygen

The fastest 100 m sprint full-body burn (without oxygen) is 24.58 seconds, and was achieved by Antony Britton (UK) in Huddersfield, UK, on 13 October 2017. 

Antony attempted the record in front of a crowd at Huddersfield Rugby Union and Football Club.

Most fire breathing full twist backflips in one minute

Aiden Malacaria (Australia) achieved this epic record at Studio 10, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 9 November 2017.

He managed 10 fire breathing back flips in celebration of Guinness World Records Day.

Most double jellyfish extinguishes in one minute 

The most double jellyfish extinguishes in one minute is 24, and was achieved by David Brown aka Roman Ackley (UK), at The Fire School, in London, UK, on 27 January 2019.

Roman also holds the record for most jellyfish fire extinguishes in one minute, which he broke immediately after breaking this record.
