World's tallest model Ekaterina Lisina on Italian show

The world’s tallest model was one of main attractions on a brand-new TV series of record breaking.

Ekaterina Lisina from Russia was a guest on the first episode of La Notte dei Record (The Night of Records) in Italy, hosted by Enrico Papi on TV8.

During the first episode, aired on Sunday (25 November), Ekaterina was a guest on the show to talk about being the world’s Tallest professional model.

Standing at nearly 6 ft 9 in tall (205.16 cm/6 ft 8.77 in to be precise), the 31-year-old is helped to her record-breaking height by her lengthy legs.

The 31-year-old boasts an unparalleled 132.8-cm-long left leg and a right leg measuring 132.2-cm (52.0 in) which also gives her the record title for Longest legs (female).

As well as Ekaterina, a host of new records were also set on the Magnolia Italy-produced show.

There was no stopping Danilo del Prete (Italy) who ran through sheet after sheet of toughened glass.

The 29-year-old now holds the Guinness World Records title for Most panes of tempered glass run through consecutively after demolished 24 panes, with each one smashed into tiny shards.

Given the nature of the record, Danilo had to don suitably protective clothing to shield himself from the tiny fragments which showered him as he charged through the panes.

Danilo’s joy was obvious though when it was confirmed he had beaten the previous best of 22 which was set by Zhang Jianjun on the set of CCTV-Guinness World Records Special in China.

Chaoyang Sun from China balanced 142 glasses, each containing a small amount of wine, on a large tray placed on top of a long pole which was resting on his chin.

The tray also doubled up as a useful shield when all the glasses toppled off at the end of the attempt.

Heaviest vehicle pulled by walking on hands

Elsewhere Tommaso Sgrulletti (Italy) tried his hand at the Heaviest vehicle pulled by walking on hands.

The 28-year-old successfully moved a truck weighing 2,325 kg (5125 lb 11.9 oz) over 5 metres on the set in Rome, relying on his arms and hands to propel him and the vehicle forwards.
