After another action packed season of Game of Thrones, the well-loved HBO series comes to a close this Sunday night.

GoT fans will have to wait another agonising year for the highly-anticipated season 8, and to see their favourite fantasy characters such as Jon Snow, Daenerys, and Cersei on screen again.

In the meantime, here's one of the stars of show in record breaking action once again.

This archive footage from Italian TV show Lo Show dei Record sees Thor Bjornsson, better known as the Mountain from GoT, go head to head in competition to set the Most overhead lifts of a quad bike in one minute world record.

Competing against the 2014 World's Strongest Man title holder Zydrunas Savickas (Lithuania), both contestants needed to use a platform to lift a 140 kg bike as many times as possible.

Who proved their might in this incredibly difficult lifting challenge? Find out below:

In past, the two have competed several times on Lo Show Dei Record, for titles such as Fastest 20 m carrying two fridges, Fastest power stairs (3 x 225 kg), and Farthest washing machine throw – individual.
