This week’s clip returns to the set of Italian TV show Lo Show dei Record in 2012, where Dutch strongwoman Maria Catharina Adriana Strik achieved a brand new Guinness World Records title for the Most weight squat lifted in two minutes (130 kg bar) (female).

The incredibly strong female completed a staggering 29 squats while holding a 130 kg weight.
 
That means that Maria lifted a whopping 3,770 kg in just two minutes.
 
 
On the show, Maria competed for the record against fellow international strongwomen Anett Von der Weppen (Germany) and Nina Geria (Ukraine).
 
Maria’s amazing feat earned her a place in the Guinness World Records 2014 book.
 
The male record for the Most weight squat lifted in one minute is 5,035.42 kg (11,1012 lb) and was achieved by Joshua Spaeth (USA) at RAB Fitness in Kennewick, Washington, USA, on 15 August 2015.
 
Shaun Jones (UK) – aka Mr Remarkableman – holds the record for the Most weight squat lifted in 24 hours by an individual after lifting a whopping 459,648 kg (1,013,350 lbs 6 oz) at the Esporta Heath Club in Norwich, UK, on 23 March 2010. This attempt made Shaun Jones the first man ever to lift a million lbs in 24 hours, a target he set himself which will be hard to beat!
