An intense record attempt featuring two of YouTube’s biggest gaming stars has seen a new scoring benchmark set for first person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Appearing on the Legends of Gaming channel, FPS experts Ali-A and Syndicate took on the challenge of taking the Guinness World Records title for the ‘Highest score in offline Team Deathmatch using only the knife and combat axe on Call of Duty: Black Ops III (team of two)’.

The two British gamers were out of their comfort zone as they battled with just two weapons, but within 12 minutes of fierce gameplay they managed to secure an impressive score of 148 kills - way above the minimum of 80 needed to take the title.
