Joe Grismore, I'm from Park Rapids, Minnesota, USA

I currently hold the Guinness World
Record title for the tallest full mohawk

Oh, I feel like a champion to hold the Guinness
World Record title for the tallest full Mohawk
0:17
I'm very proud and delighted. It takes about an hour. If I have my hairdresser there and a crew of people to
help me, it's a pretty quick process from start to finish when it's down, straightened, and fully standing up

If it's my wife doing it and it's just her
and I without ratting it down and everything
0:35
it probably takes an hour and a half, I think, to
get it to stand. You know, I've always had long hair

As a child, I had a really nice mullet.
I think inspired me to just let it grow

Until 2013, actually, my hair measured 58 inches long, at which time I
attempted the Guinness World Record title for the tallest spike mohawk

and failed that attempt. I continue to let my hair grow. It's just natural. It's just how I am. In 2013, my hair was five and a half feet long until I shaved it completely, which kind of bummed me out. I didn't
really feel like myself, so I let it grow from that time on with the intent of getting the Guinness World Record title for the tallest full Mohawk, which I currently have at 42 inches tall, which is 108 centimeters
