Inside the World of Lego Minifigures with collector Fabio

Today, LEGO releases about 800 different minifigures each year

There is a minifig for all themes. For example, I can show you Superman, Robin Hood from the 90s

Jack Sparrow, Shaquille O'Neal from the Lakers, or, for example, you can see a robot from the classic space in the 80s

There is a LEGO Friends, there is a LEGO Elvis, and it's SpongeBob

At the end of the 90s, LEGO launched on the market the LEGO Star Wars theme

I have 242 minifigures in my collection. For example, you can see Ashok Hatano from the film The Clone Wars

Its price is about 30 euros here in Italy today, and probably a little less in Europe

C-3PO in the first type, and another type, they are two different minifigures, and so two different codes

We can see here Darth Vader. From the need to expose my collection and protect the minifigures from the dust

I designed and patented this little box. I gave the name Fabio from the union of the word box and my name, Fabio

Each display contains about 16 minifigures. There is a code for each minifigure

In the 70s, minifigures didn't have movable arms and legs, and they were composed by four pieces

a base, a torso without movable arms, an head without expression, and the hat

Even LEGO Duplo minifigures you can see here on the bottom are very, very simple

It's very cuddly and nice. In 1978, were born the classic minifigures with movable arms and legs

with the classic expression. For example, you can see here a worker

but there is a minifigure from the city, or a fireman. In 1979, were born the Fabuland series

with the body of a man and the head of an animal

My preferred one is the Walrus. His name is Captain Walrus, and I think it's very, very nice

In the 80s, when I was born, and I remember my first set was a digger

with a worker in a black overalls and red helmet. Inspiration to collect minifigures began in 1989

LEGO launched on the market the Black Seas Barracuda. They had faces improved by adding details

such as the bird or the pirate A-patch. Another ship, another bigger ship, it's a MOC that I created in 1998

From 1975 to today, LEGO has released about 12,000 of different minifigures
