I had never been in any kind of sports
or been in a gym until age 63 and that
0:11
was from watching my daughter Jessie
Graff on American Ninja Warrior. I wanted
0:15
to get stronger and I went into a
personal trainer and I said I want to be
0:20
able to do five pull-ups that's my goal
and it took an entire year to get one
0:25
pull-up because you have to develop
the shoulders the back the chest and
0:30
everything you can't just work on
pull-ups every day so it took an entire
0:36
year and took even longer than
that to get to my second pull-up
0:48
So training these days I am an avid
swimmer so I swim three times a week and
0:55
I I compete nationally as well in
the senior games and I also go to a
1:04
personal trainer three times a week as well
because that keeps me getting stronger
1:25
You know I never thought that you could
get stronger as you aged I thought maybe
1:35
you could maintain your muscles but you
can actually at all ages get stronger
1:42
and it's so important
