I've always known I've had bigger feet and hands. I mean I've been taller and bigger than every kid

since I was in preschool. Well our family is is quite larger than your average. I'm six foot two

myself. My 12 year old is six foot two and of course Eric is 6'11", somewhere around that now

This is my current shoe collection. About all of them are custom made and to give you an idea of

the size comparison this is an average cleat. It's about 10 and a half which is average male

size in USA. This is one of my custom cleats, a lot bigger. I think everyone goes through highs

and lows. I mean me personally I used to be like a bully because I was bigger than everyone and

I kind of grew out of it in like third grade and then I started like apologizing to people like

man I did wrong by you like I'm sorry. There are lots of pros and cons of being my size

The cons are I constantly have joint pain and like my back always hurts, my neck hurts. If I

sleep a little bit weird I'll wake up sore but the pros are I'm usually picked first for most sports

Whenever I'm in a store I can look over the aisles now so I can see oh that thing's there

it's over there. There was a lot of positivity, blessings, wonderful things to come from our story

but there's darkness as well. Some of the comments online were hard to deal with and

you know as any teenager he had a very difficult time kind of coping with that at the beginning

What's really wonderful is we had Shaquille O'Neal who became a really great support system for him

and he actually reached out to him a few times and asked him you know how do I deal with this extra

attention, the media and he actually really spent a lot of time kind of speaking life into him and

allowing him to just see the positive sides. I had been wearing size 22. I started to grow out of them

We made hundreds if not thousands of calls asking different shoe corporations or different shoe

companies can you make a shoe this big. A lot of them said you have to be a collegiate or professional

athlete sorry we can't help you. So we went to the media and Under Armour and Puma they offered to

help us and in the meantime Shaquille O'Neal he sent me giant FedEx boxes full of clothes, shoes

all sorts of stuff that we needed because he's a big guy too so he sent me a lot of clothes that

were tall and big too. Eighth to ninth grade I was wearing the same pair of shoes. These are size 22

I started to grow out of them. Shaquille O'Neal reached out and he gave me multiple pairs of shoes

like sporting shoes or luxury boots all sorts of stuff. You wouldn't think that something as

insignificant as just having shoes and different kinds of footwear to choose from would be something

so impactful but that's absolutely what I'm seeing and just seeing his kind of confidence just from

being able to walk into school with cool shoes and have his friends and peers look at those those

are so great and then he just you see him kind of swell with pride and that's something that is

money can't buy that. It feels surreal because I always read Guinness World Records growing up and it feels like

somewhat exclusive to be a part of it. He makes me so proud so many ways that

having him get this world record is just something that I'm so happy for him to have kind of in his

repertoire of amazing things about him and it's not even close to the best thing about him though

I love to inspire people and just to inspire people to be them and be who you are

not hide behind something. Eric has two world records that's pretty awesome but he's still

my big brother. Taller than you though. Because you're older than me. I'm still
