This Bart and Homer Simpson trademark infringement pizza box

It's my favorite genre of pizza box, the trademark infringement. It's like definitely supposed to look like Bart and Homer Simpson, but it's definitely not

I mean I'll never forget using my own money to buy my own food for the first time

I mean it was pizza. I think even more than just being a food, it was symbolic for something greater

All right, I'm going to, I'll show you some of my pizza boxes

This is, this is a great one. This is a rare McDonald's pizza box

This is maybe the oldest box that I have from 1991. It's a limited edition Pizza Hut Rocketeer marketing box

Oh, these are great. These are two pizza boxes from a place in Stockholm, Sweden called Pizza Hat

Totally wild Swedish artwork. Pizza boxes are ephemeral. They're produced to be thrown in the garbage

So by taking it out of its life cycle, we're capturing its rarity and we're making use

of it in a way that's not intended. Usually a pizza box traps in a lot of steam, but this is the Vented Box out of India, which

has little breathing components that allow steam to escape. Limited edition, kind of a Nike swoosh pizza box

Only 50 of these were made apparently and I got number eight. So very exciting

Here's a cool prototype. See, they're not all like flashy artsy pizza boxes

This is called the Archie, the always reliable, recyclable, reusable container. And it's a plastic reusable container

When I started seeing boxes that didn't look like the ones I grew up with, that's when

they started to mean something to me. This is a Neapolitan Pizza Al Metro box

One meter pizza designed by a guy named Michael Biondo and did this beautiful painting

The original is hanging up in the pizzeria and I love it

It's got his info on it, his website, his name. It's just rare to find that because usually the pizza box doesn't give any credit to the artist

So this is a really neat one. It's also a huge box

What do we got? Oh, this is a good one. In 2008, Spider-Man's dressed up in this weird costume

This is a character named Pulcinella. Pulcinella is the kind of the mascot of Naples, Italy

So to see that costume is a reference to the city of Naples, the birthplace of pizza

And then finally, definitely among my favorite boxes of all time, the George Clooney pizza box

I also started a nonprofit called Slice Out Hunger. And the idea behind that was that we could use everybody's excitement and interest in

pizza to raise money for hunger relief organizations. We even have a campaign going called Pizza vs. Pandemic, which sends pizza to health

care workers all around the country. We've had over a thousand deliveries go out in just under two months

We've sent pizza to EMS stations, fire departments, police departments, hospitals, retirement

homes, homeless shelters. We're just sending pizza to anyone who needs it

It's the best phone call ever. You call them up and you say, I want to send you free pizza

I mean, the sound of their voice on the other end of the line is amazing
