Holding her body parallel to the floor while maintaining the extremely difficult splits position with her legs, Miss Sharma glided past the previous record of 9 inches (22.86 cm) which was achieved by Medvin Deva (India) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium skating ring in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, back in 2014.

Shristi was previously the record holder for the Lowest limbo skating over 10 m with 16.5 cm (6.5 in), but this was narrowly improved by Shilpa Kamdi (also India) with 16.2 cm (6.3 in) in October 2015.
