This week Guinness World Records is thrilled to be a guest at Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, offering delegates the chance to get involved with some exciting record-breaking activities.

Every June, over 15,000 professionals from the creative industries flock to Cannes, a resort town on the French Riviera, to be inspired and educated, network like crazy and, with any luck, win a coveted Cannes Lion award for their great work.

Guinness World Records will be posting a new vlog each day, which we hope will offer a brief and inciteful glimpse into a few of the things that are going on at the event.

If you’re going to be in Cannes this week, come join us!  We can be found at the House of PR cabana, just next to the Palais.  There are live record-breaking challenges for you to try your hand at plus you will get the chance to meet a few members of the Records Lab, GWR’s internal creative agency.

Our first vlog post comes in the form of a chat with our House of PR host, Charlene Corrin, General Manager of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), the voice of public relations consultancies around the world.

Cannes Lions is about "taking inspiration from the festival back to businesses and communities," she says.

With the Cannes Lions Festival spanning two giant exhibition spaces and spreading all the way down the Croisette, and with events taking place in the cabanas, on the beaches and in the hotels, there is so much to cover. If you enjoy this small taster, why not pay a visit?

Stay tuned for more Cannes Lions and Guinness World Records news.
