LEGO has been making headlines this week for their recent Guinness World Records achievements.

Just last week they managed to set a stunning record for the Largest LEGO® brick cherry blossom tree (supported) in Japan, and now the hosts from their YouTube show Rebrickulous have succeeded in beating Dude Perfect in the Farthest distance walking barefoot on Lego® bricks!

The Rebrickulous stars watched Dude Perfect’s attempt and were confident they could break Tyler Toney's record of 44.78 m (146 ft 10.99 in).

The YouTube series is all about finding unique ways to utilise LEGO bricks, so hosts Tyler, Dimitry and Christiana decided to try the title by making a spiraling path of tiny brick pieces to walk over - ouch!

Since none of the other members dared to brave the challenge, Dimitry stepped up see if his bare feet could withstand the record attempt.

After one trip around the LEGO path - which was about the same length as Tyler's record - he swiftly turned around to begin not two, but eight consecutive laps on the course.

This brought the new total to 385.2 m (1,264 feet 6 inches).

This is the team’s first Guinness World Records title, but it seems like they’ll want more.

As Rebrickulous set the bar very high, we’ll see if anyone manages to shatter their new record.
