Our team jumped over to Tampa, Florida (USA) to reach for the stars with world’s former Tallest teenager Kevin Bradford. Kevin first set the record when he was sixteen years old in 2014, measuring an incredible 7 foot 1 inches. Three years later, he has grown one inch to measure 7 foot 2 inches, beating the height of major NBA players like Shaquille O’Neill (7’1”) and LeBron Games (6’8”). In this video, he discusses some of the many annoying, difficult, and sometimes pleasant aspects of being so tall, and what his life has been life since becoming a recognized record holder.

The week of sunshine and perfect weather continued in Tampa, Florida, where our host Claire Stephens ventured to Lake Arietta to meet with record holder Hunter Sims. The avid water sportsman achieved his first record in 2015, for Most consecutive wakesurfing shove-its. For those unfamiliar, a wakesurf shove-it is when the surfer glides along the waves created by a motor boat (without a rope) and shifts the board 180 degrees continuously underneath their feet. It’s quite the skill to have, and Hunter kindly accomplished this record to raise money for orphaned children in Tanzania. For this program, he aimed to attempt another record title for Most consecutive 360 shove-its in front of our excited and supportive Facebook Live audience. Things started to spin out of control the following day of filming, particularly with Bernie Boehm, who has two records for Longest time to spin a basketball on the toe and Longest time to spin a basketball while surfing. The laid back surfer decided to combine his two talents of basketball and watersports one day and apply for the record title. Now Bernie has come a far since achieving two records, spinning everything from towels, plates, cups, ping pong paddles, all the way to his latest and greatest, iPhones. Bernie has even applied for another record, for Longest time to spin a basketball on a guitar. We learn more about how the surfing teacher is able to execute this awesome trick, and find out which other records he’d like to break in future. If you’d like to learn about this nifty trick, check out the video below.

We moved over to Vancouver, Canada to watch another entertaining episode of Asha Attempts! In a delicious new challenge, Asha and her friends attempt the record for Fastest time to eat a muffin without using the hands. Several rounds of chocolate mess and good fun ensue in this broadcast, with viewers enjoying the humorous nature of the attempts. The best part of this broadcast is that we list all the ways to try the record at home with family and friends, so that you too can enjoy muffins just as much as Asha! To see what methods of speed-eating they used, take a peek at the video.

We ended the week with a very cool record for the Largest collection of film cameras, held by Richard “Hyker” LaRiviere in Tampa, Florida. Hyker has a mesmerizing collection of cinematic history with his various cameras, which he has been collecting since 1960. He’s accrued 1,400 different video cameras to make his record breaking collection, and host Claire Stephens gets the opportunity to see each and every one of them! Hyker takes fans through a mechanical tour of the models he owns, as well as offers a bit of history for those interested in how these cameras played a hand during the time they were popular.
