“Bark at the Park” is a traditional event held during baseball seasons, both major and minor league, as a means of allowing pet owners to include their furry friends in the great American sport.

In 1996, the Sox were the first to create an inclusive day for owner and dog to enjoy their time at the baseball, making this record title a significant one to the team.

On the night of the game, doggies piled in, decked Chicago White Sox jerseys for their big moment.

The minimum requirement to beat was 1,000 dogs, and each had to remain seated next to their owner for at least 10 minutes while the game went on.
