Welcome to the Guinness World Records Italian Show – a weekly video series which features the most astonishing, shocking and awe-inspiring record attempts from the seventh series of Italy’s Lo Show Dei Record.

In this week’s episode, Stefano Pelingai from Italy and Florian ‘Venom’ Kohler from France battle it out for the title Most pool balls potted into the middle pocket over an obstacle in one minute.

The obstacle used for this attempt was two rows of pool balls lined up. This meant that the participants had to use their cue skills to make each ball they wanted to pot bounce over the barrier.

Following the Guinness World Records guidelines, both competitors were allowed an assistant to help him replace the balls as they attempted to pot them, though they were permitted to clear any balls obstructing the pocket himself.

Stefano – a frequent international artistic pool champion – made the first attempt and managed to pot an impressive 35 balls in 60 seconds.

Pool trick shot player Florian – who is known for his spectacular spin shots – demonstrated his skills next and potted a record-smashing 68 balls.
