With a few weeks until the launch of the Guinness World Records 2017 annual, our editor-in-chief, Craig Glenday, is joining authors and editors from around the world at the 2016 Edinburgh Book Festival in Scotland.

On Tuesday 16th August, Craig will be taking to the stage at the Studio Theatre at 5.30pm as part of the festival's programme of events for children and family.

Craig's presentation will give the audience a sneak preview of the new Guinness World Records 2017 annual and the new Guinness World Records Gamers Edition 2017 book, both of which go on sale in the UK on September 8th.

The event will include never before seen videos, pictures and a first glance at some of the most exciting feature in books.

There will also be demonstrations from two current Guinness World Records title holders and a chance for audience members to attempt to break one of our most iconic world records.

More than 800 writers from 55 countries are set to appear in 750 events at this year’s Edinburgh Book Festival which runs from now until August 29.
