Welcome to the Guinness World Records Italian Show – a weekly video series which features the most astonishing, shocking and awe-inspiring record attempts from the seventh series of Italy’s Lo Show Dei Record.
In this week’s episode, professional rope skipping competitor Anika Stuhr from Germany achieves a brand new Guinness World Records title for the Most skips while sitting in one minute, with an incredible 108 correctly performed skips.
For this strenuous record the challenger begins sitting on the floor and then brings the rope over the head and under the body - the same as for normal standing skips but they remain sitting on the floor throughout.
Anika has since broken her own record, achieving an impressive 120 skips while on the set of the TV show ZDF-Fernsehgarten in Mainz, Germany.
