Samsam explained his passion for creating bubble art and his initial inspiration for becoming a trained bubbleologist. He also provided some nifty tricks to blowing unique bubbles, and even putting our host, PeeWee Wiggins, in a giant bubble himself! Samsam holds the record for Largest frozen soap bubble; after creating one with a volume of 4315.7 cm at the Absolut Vodka Bar in London in 2010.

On Thursday, our London HQ received a visit from the vibrant and entertaining Cherry Yoshitake or “Mr. Cherry” as he is famously known, star of the Guinness World Records TV Show “Officially Amazing”.

Mr. Cherry came all the way from Japan to give our UK Headquarters a roaring good time, showcasing his unique record-breaking skills for Facebook Live. On the segment you can see the multi-record holder demonstrate his abilities while getting our staff to participate in some of the challenges, particularly breaking walnuts with their bottom! It’s a fantastic broadcast with absolutely no dull moments- see for yourself!

Thursday continued with another enthralling broadcast, this time from sunny Las Vegas (USA), where host Claire Stephens joined record holder Antonio Restivo for a very fiery demonstration. Antonio currently holds the record for Highest flame blown by a fire breather, at an amazing 26 ft and 5 in (8.05 m)! For the segment he took us to his home where he showcased tricks of the fire-breathing trade, and even showed our host how to touch fire! He’s been in the business for 20 years and counting, and answered all burning questions viewers had to ask. It’s not one to miss, so make sure to check out this enlightening broadcast.

Continuing the day in Las Vegas, our team was live with performer and record holder Andrew Stanton who holds the title for the Longest metal coil passed through the nose and out of the mouth. Warning: If you’re squeamish, this may not be your favorite segment! Andrew showed us his incredible talent by twisting a coil through his nose and out through his mouth. He gave us the highlights of the life of an extreme performer, and some of the difficulties and challenges they face.

Friday began right in the center of the hugely patriotic Veteran's Day Parade in New York City, New York (USA), an annual holiday that celebrates the men and women who have served in the country's armed forces. There U.S. Marine Guy Valentino walked alongside the parade floats attempting the record for Fastest one mile tire flipping. A extreme effort of strength and endurance, the veteran chose to haul the 450-lb tire in order to show anyone in the world that they too can flip their lives 180 degrees, like the motion of the tire. In the broadcast you'll see Guy put in his absolute best work with the goal of achieving the record. With adjudicator Hannah watching close by, and supportive cheers from the crowd, watch the video above to see if Guy managed to conquer the record title.

Travelling from east coast to west of the USA, our Facebook Live Team gathered again in Las Vegas later in the week to check in with record holder Michael Goudeau. Michael holds the title for Most bites taken from three apples whilst juggling in one minute. It’s quite the record to achieve as it requires a bit of control over one’s motor skills! Michael earned the record with an impressive 151 bites. In the twenty-five minute segment, we cover what inspired Michael to begin pursuing his talent as well as learn more about how he accomplished this juggling feat. It’s an interview that you won’t want to miss, as Michael gives host Jono a juggling masterclass, featuring anything from bean-bag chairs to chainsaws.

As the night continued, the team moved on to the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas (USA) where host Claire Stephens took viewers through a tour of the multi-record holding venue. Inside the grand lobby of the hotel, Facebook fans got a sneak peek at the world’s Tallest chocolate fountain, a decadent record that drips the rich treat an amazing 26 feet and 3 inches down. With varieties of white, dark and milk pouring from the skies, viewers were salivating at the delicious, title holding structure.  As Claire ventured through the rest of the ornate hotel, viewers were also shown the magnificent art piece that holds the record for Largest glass sculpture. Named the ‘Fiori di Como”, it features 40,000 lbs of hand-blown, vibrant glass formed in the shape of flowers.

Moving over to Salt Lake City, Utah (USA), host Jono traded in the flashing lights of Vegas for the green American football fields of Brigham Young University. There viewers watched as the school’s iconic mascot, Cosmo the Cougar, attempted the record live for Most backwards handsprings in one minute by a mascot. With packed stands filled with roaring supporters watching on, does Cosmo's dizzying number of flips, earn him a place in the record books? Find out in the clip above.

Finally, our last Facebook Live broadcast of the week ended on the best note possible, with host Asha Leo achieving a Guinness World Records title herself! As part of our regular “Asha Attempts” feature, the delightful host once again took on a record-breaking challenge, and for the first time succeeded in taking a title.
