The attempt took place outside at a local velodrome and was overseen by official Guinness World Records adjudicator Kaoru Ishikawa, who was soon able to verify the record after examining slow motion footage of the attempt.

To successfully achieve this title, each skip counted towards the final total must include a full 360 degree revolution of both skipping ropes.
