Now that’s what you call a real ‘sole’ mate! The world’s shortest woman, Jyoti Amge, and second tallest man, Brahim Takioullah, have launched a bid to get thousands of people’s feet into the record books.

The challenge, titled ‘Amazing Feet’, is one of the largest mass participation world record attempts ever, with 50,000 pairs of feet needed to be photographed and uploaded via the website officiallyamazing.tv/feet to set a new Guinness World Records title for the Largest Online Photo Album of Feet.

19-year-old Jyoti Amge, who stands at 62.8 cm (24.7 in) and took the title of world’s Smallest Woman in 2011, is dwarfed in the photo by the feet of 31-year-old Brahim Takioullah.

The giant Moroccan has feet that measure 38.1 cm (1ft 3 in), recorded as the Largest Feet in the world.

Brahim, who has previously held the title of world’s Tallest Man, said he was “excited” to meet Jyoti.

Jyoti, who travelled from her home in Nagpar, India, to Kuwait City, Kuwait, to launch the new Amazing Feet Guinness World Records challenge, said: “It was great to meet Brahim and get our photo taken for this new record attempt – I hope everyone gets involved to make it a success!”

Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, said: “We’re really excited to launch Amazing Feet, an ambitious Guinness World Record challenge to create the Largest Online Photo Album of Feet.

"We’re giving people all over the world the chance to be part of one of the largest mass participation records ever untaken"

"All you have to do is visit officiallyamazing.tv/feet and submit a photo of your feet to the website. The resulting record-breaking collection will be unveiled in exciting fashion at a later date.”

The Amazing Feet challenge will run throughout the summer and open to all members of the public who are encouraged to visit officiallyamazing.tv/feet and submit their entry.
