The record for the fastest time to solve a Rubik Cube is 9.55 sec and was achieved by Ron van Bruchem (Netherlands) in the Dutch Championship 2007 Rubik's cube competition held in Zwolle, Netherlands on 24 November 2007.

The record for the largest bead mosaic is 3.75 m2 (40.36 ft2), containing 18,231 beads, and was created by Reem Al Gurg (UAE), in Dubai, UAE, on 8 November 2007.
Largest collection of telephones
Zhang Dafang (China) has collected 600 different telephones as of 20 April 2007, from all eras and from over the world for the past seven years. The collection includes a phone in the shape of a Jim Beam whiskey bottle, and his oldest piece - a 1900-phone which he found in a flea market in Russia.

The largest espresso machine measures 1.83 m (5 ft 11 in) x 0.54 m (1 ft 9 in) x 0.56 m (1 ft 10 in) and was build by AMANTI (Australia). It was presented on 24 September 2007 at the Fine Food 2007 exhibition in Sydney, Australia.

The largest snow sculpture, entitled, 'Romantic Feelings' measured 35 m (115 ft) tall and 200 m (656 ft) long when it was created as part of the annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival, which opened in Heilongjiang province, China on 20 December 2007. An team of 600 sculptors from 40 different countries used 3,398 m³ (120,000 ft³) of snow to create the Olympic themed landscape, which included a French cathedral, an ice maiden and a Russian church.

The longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire was successfully completed by Clint Ewing (USA) and measured 60.96 m (200 ft) long at Universal City, Los Angeles, USA on 27 January 2008. The record was attempted for the NBC TV Special "Guinness World Records Live - The Top 100".

The youngest lion tamer is Jorge Elich (Spain) has been learning the trade since the age of five, and most recently performed as such for the Circus Paris in El Ejido, near Almeria, Spain, in January 2008, aged eight.
