MEC, part of WPP and one of the world's top media agencies, tasked Guinness World Records with motivating 282 media executives from its UK offices. The record-breaking solution was required to add authenticity to their conference, generate a sense of shared achievement and personal success.
The Guinness World Records team building solution was much more than one day. A record campaign was created to engage the MEC staff in the weeks preceding the event. By tasking teams with practice for specific record titles, a true sense of excitement was built ahead of the company’s conference. At the company’s conference staff took on the records in an entertaining format, led by Guinness World Records Adjudicators, to help bond and entertain the MEC staff. Of the 41 records attempted, 15 records tumbled and 282 people left the conference with a memory for life.
Having the opportunity to break a Guinness World Records title was the absolute highlight of the conference.
